01
The brief
A plain steel booth by the road had to become a barbershop with a name, a number and a menu that a passer-by takes in at a glance, and an inside worth sitting in.
02
What I made
A black system carried by the client's own tattoo-flash characters: the front fascia names the shop and its number at full width, the side fascias show the cuts, the door panels carry the menu and a portrait so they work open or closed, a back-wall print of 236 by 150 cm faces the chair, and an A2 chart turns the menu into numbered cuts.
